A rally was planned to meet at 555 Robson and march to the CLRB office. Many assumed the rally was canceled because of the mail order Foffer. Many came anyways to express their anger. On the way down I stopped at the 7000 Lougheed site. I saw this happy scabby cross the legal picketline and smile for the camera. He thinks it's funny.
Scab labour is against the law in B.C. but no one cares. Secret deals and back room sell outs means Bruce refuses to fine scabs or prosecute scabs for crossing legal picketlines. That is a shameful mockery of what all the people on the line have fought and sacrificed for. The members are very angry and have every right to be angry. They decided to march on the CLRB office anyway and demand they do their job and start the scab tribunals.
I stopped off at Mobility on the way.
The line held but many came to the rally as well.
Many on the line at Mobility have already
spoken out against the mail order Foffer.
Darren put his hungry hippo add in the middle of another picketline mocking the employees after starving them out for four months demanding they accept his Imposed Contract. This is where many hungry employees gathered. Only they were hungry for justice and a few resignations.
This was a happy scabby leaving the compound at 555 Robson. Everyone booed him but he just laughed. He knows Bruce won't fine him or charge him. If Bruce won't why would the CLRB? That is unjust!
I saw this TWU member tell this reported how
unhappy he was with the offer and the sell out.
I saw this member express similar concerns.
Many continued to gather on both sides of the street.
I had to run back to my van to get more film. The march to to the CLRB was amazing. The Vancouver city police were very professional. They simply blocked off the streets for the lawful assembly. A members wife saw it from the 24th floor in the Province tower. She said the march down Granville street was very impressive.
The crown continued to gather on Hastings at the Sinclair centre.
It kept filling up as more and more people came chanting "Do your Job!"
.
This sign says "TELUS Must Pay CLRB Don't Delay Enforce the law."
The crowd stepped back and listened to a few speakers.
This was a Vancouver local president. I have met him before once. He is very well spoken. The crowd cheered him. Everything he read and said was true and made sense.
I am told this is Peter Massey. I have never met him.
Nothing he said made sense. He was booed.
This is the angry mob Peter had to face.
This is the angry mob booing Peter when he started talking nonsense.
This sister called him a sell out and demanded his resignation.
After Peter was finished speaking this brother took the mike and started to speak. Peter ripped the mike from his hands and started talking nonsense again erroneously claiming the brother from the floor had interrupted him. This brother was censored. I saw it.
After the TWU representation came out of the building they told the people that the CLRB put the Scab hearings on hold because Darren had returned to the table. I guess that wouldn't of happened if the TWU enforced the FIFOTEL petition from the members.

This sign said it all. Darren is frantically trying to rush his mail order Foffer because he has NO where to run and NO where to hide from the third quarter results. Is that Cable and Wireless lawsuit gonna find him here in Canada?
Stay tuned. More to come. I did speak with one radical who said he was so frustrated he was going to vote yes because he could do more damage inside then he could outside the building. Darren has conned 25% of the scabs and scared off 24.7% of the members who are hungry and wanna give up but he the anger and bitterness he has created in 50.3% of the workforce will never go away as long as he is CEO. Mark my word.
